i love the simple, non-quirky elegance of the vintage. the GV, in comparison, looks too
self-consciously elaborated and ornate. I was not completely sure what my difficulty with the GV was until I saw the direct comparison, (thanks). The overdone dial of the GV is perfectly solved by the regular black dial. Now I am more clear on why I chose...
That's why both are great to own
Well, once you get the Vintage, it is really easier to get the modern. And, somehow, strangely, the Vintage makes you love the modern, and vice versa.. Best, Nicolas
