Lucky me...Two strikes in two days!
Today is my wife’s birthday and my present was a necklace with a diamond. When I bought her gift two days ago at a jewellery shop in our capital I got very lucky. The sales lady knows I am a big Rolex fan and that I was looking for a Submariner no date for more than a year but I was never able to buy one. Just before I had to pay for my wife’s gift the sales lady pulled out a pouch containing the new (!) Rolex Submariner no date and asked me if I wanted to buy it.....I said I had to think about it🤔and after one long second I said:”yes, of course!” Luckily I had enough savings and was able to pay for the present and the watch. Although the alterations are small, the look and feel of this new Submariner could not be better. I love it and I more than appreciate this sales lady. Talking about luck...
And this opportunity came just two days after I did my first trading up with a grey dealer in the Netherlands. I bought a GMT Pepsi but never got used to the Red turning pinkish and the blue turning pink in sunlight so I decided that I like the BLNR better. Last Friday I was able to get my hands on that one by trading it in. And here it is...
