They became the new Hype-Brand after Rolex, PP Nautilus and the AP RO, that is why I completely lost interrest in Cartier at the moment, the market is "too hot" for me at the moment. Even the entry-level models like the Must de Cartier Tank or the Santos seem to have nearly doubled in price the last 3 years, not funny anymore! But maybe I will gain interrest again when the pendulum swings back - for now I will be looking into Universal Geneve and more obscure Vintage brands. Unfortunately UG prices seem to be climbing as well, I'm constantly watching the market at the moment.

While I would hypothetically prefer one in Stainless Steel these models are so much outside of my price-range that I will never own one, I´d rather liquidate my house mortgage at once with this kind of money... But the 5-digit Daytonas with El Primero mov...
Exactly, but if I had to choose,
I would say white - makes it a bit more flamboyant which fits the character of the Daytona perfectly! And the Zenith Daytonas have brushed middle links on the bracelet, another plus compared to the 6-digit models in my view!

I love gold watches, and I love Daytonas, so I love this one.
And I love it because it DOESN'T have a date! Ha ha!
