Rolex

I am about to buy a Rolex GMT, I am choosing between two references: the 16750 from 1984 and the 16700 from 1999. I have been offered to buy these watches for GBP 3250 each. Which one would you buy and why? Both are in a very good condition. 16700 16750 B...

Thank you Nicolas! It feels kind of wrong to buy a 25 year old watch for the same price as the 5 year olds are selling for. But I guess that's what you have to do to get the charm of a vintage.

At the end of the day buy the watch you like this is not an investment other than an investment in your pleasure. The return will come in the form of smiles on your face and new friends that will make remarks on your excellent choice in watches. Please le...

No way! The 16 750 is already a collector, compared to the 16 700. It is a transitional model, much rarer than the next GMTs. It is more expensive, and that is logical, to me. And that's nothing. When you'll " attack " the Vintage Subs, it is even worst! ...

I'd go for the 1675... It would have been different if the 26750 had the painted indexes, instead of the circled. But in this case, I would prefer this 2675, even if the case has been polished. Best, Nicolas

I was wondering why they are priced the same if they are in equal condition, I guess personally I would go for the 16750 even of you add a bit more on the price. Just my 2 cents
