You have been spoiled by all the really nice vintage pieces over the years LOL. It's unfair to ask Rolex to match its past glory which is build upon years and years of human history.
Funny still is that because you I haven't bought any new Rolex after my first purchase of the Milgauss more than 3 years ago.
We are too young to be call old but too old to be liking all these Nouvo Designs of color and material mixmatch. We can't stop them from being introduce and like Imran said these weird ugly duckling might be the darling of the vintage market 30~40 years later. By then we will be ask the same question like we did before to our parents. "What were you thinking when pass up the chance to buy the 6263 exotic dial in retail price?!"
Substitute the model with a current and you'll get my point.
Even after saying all this I'm still finding it hard to accept the YM II
I only hope history will have mercy on me.LOL
Best

In almost full agreement here. Can't say I ever liked the Yachtmaster II. The New Daytona is probably a very nice watch, but its color pattern makes it very difficult to wear and coordinate with. I can only hope the ceramic bezel makes its way to other Da...
