It is a beautifull movement, but they dont spend time for nothing. The escape and balance is the best in the world, the have the bridge for the balance and everybody imitites this now. They have Breguet Balance spring, nearly nobody had this because they dont know how to do.
I dont want to have a crystall case back on a Rolex, because it is contraproductive for the movement. The oil is aging faster with day ligth. Also it is one hole more who can fail.

Rolex movement
I know this is treasonous but I do wish Rolex would make and offer a sapphire crystal case back as an option. Probably this comment will get me thrown out the window but it would be nice to see the it. Cheers

But for me, the Rolex movement just isn’t that interesting to see. It’s solid. Highly reliable. Well-engineered. Just like the engine in my Golf. I never look at that either. Why do you want to see it?

Probably one of if not the most reliable engines around.
Reliable - forget it. First the Golfs had problems with the timing belt, than they changed for chain and had the same problems.
Volkswagen has no idea to make a good motor and this not a secret in Germany. They know a lot of faking emissions.
