I like it...
I'm a Rolex fan but not a Rolex purist, and I have a long catalog of "Black Sheep" Rolex references on my list of favorites.
This is a big blue sports watch, and it's redolent of unpretentious fun. It isn't a poem in steel or a product of artisanal blood and sweat, but it's suggestive of innocent fun for the beach or pool party. Maybe it's a younger look, and I'm just the target customer... don't know.
If Stella dial Day-Dates (another of my loves) have evolved to become collectable and hip, there's room in the Rolex universe for the Deep(Blue)Sea.

Interested to see what it will look like. I have a feeling it will be a deep, navy blue, not the blue of the WG sub. Should be neat to see. -Mike

I think I would need time but in some circumstances and from another point of view it is certainly a Rolex that is worth it. Cheers, Mark
