Seems perfect for me!
Perhaps they should have chosen another name demanded by the history of this model and by many Rolex lovers who care a lot about the long tradition and history of this icon.
I haven't got the chance to see it in flesh, but I think it could be the perfect Rolex sports tool watch for me.
It has the fantastic new movement, a high water resistance and a bracelet, that - IMHO - fits better to the case than it is the case with the Deep Sea.
I don't mind the new size which is still smaller than for instance many PAMs.
As far as the cyclop is concerned: it has always been a part of Rolex, and now modern technology allows it also in greater depths. Perhaps Rolex would have gone this way earlier if technology would have allowed it?
Just my humble thoughts...
