I think most of the SD fans were waiting for something faithful to the DRSD. The cyclop is one thing, the size is another one. The last thing is that the Deep Sea took an important place, so life is not easy for this new SD. Best, Nicolas

Where did you see that this was a limited edition, this is simply a replacement. The SeaDweller has now been completely set apart from the Submariner line and given it's proper place in the Rolex line up. I praise Rolex for building this new model and wis... 

I said it is an anniversary model. And those were always replaced with other models later on.

appears on the Rolex site, therefore this is an "Anniversary" model but also a replacement in my mind. You can argue about semantics, but in the end this is and will be the NEW SeaDweller.

Perhaps they should have chosen another name demanded by the history of this model and by many Rolex lovers who care a lot about the long tradition and history of this icon. I haven't got the chance to see it in flesh, but I think it could be the perfect ...
