Look at the minute ring that is consistent without patina, how can that be created only with the sun? Also, it is so even…. Anyhow, probably everyone has his own view on such a case. Br, Dirk

The piece above that I saw some years ago was inherited by the son of the original owner and had been in the family since new. Perhaps it was a process used by Rolex to coat or finish the dial that was found to be defective? Of course, all theoretical! Re...  

It must have left out in the sun in the Death Valley to get this effect! Seeing the condition of the case and strap it must have been custom aged, don't you think? Best, E.
