I completely agree with your conclusion. It would be interesting to see it on a strap and then see how it changes.

And I completely agree about being in the mood for this subtle aesthetic. Sometimes it’s just too restrained and underplayed. Other days it really tickles me.

In the end I traded it away for a Jaeger LeCoultre to celebrate my 60th birthday. Still the Rolex is destined to be a classic especially with such a short production run! Cheers! ...

I’m not surprised that you would appreciate this watch. It’s the sort of watch that is just PERFECT for some days. I’m really happy I added it to my box as I think it holds a special place.

But I wasn’t convinced on the size for me (I know that sounds odd given I also wear Subs, Daytona happily). But I loved the watch, it was a winner in my mind. Glad you “found” it again ! And are enjoying it.

I’m not surprised that this is something you would like, Jay. You do have exceptional taste 😁 too bad about the size but that’s just on e of the most important factors, so I understand.

For me, with the OP I decided that 36mm was the best size.

I’m at the summer house now and have time to enjoy it. I really enjoy it’s purity and simplicity. HAGWE 😊
