When looking to present made Submariners & GMT´s, I often ask myself this question: Where are those marvelous bevels which used to embellish the lugs of old Rolex Sport references? One thing that has always fascinated me in vintage sport models, like the ...  

A pity that bevels don't exist anymore. It was a nice touch of " sophistication " on these toolwatches. Now we are going to the opposite: The new Rolex are less tool, more luxury watches, but the bevels diappeared... Strange. Best, Nicolas

One of the things I really like about my Aqua Terra and Speedmasters is the turned lugs. They're more than bevels. But they add something to the watch. My 39 Explorer does not have this feature. Straight, flat to polished. Sometimes I feel it's a little p...
