... I have been observing this watch carefuly in sunlight, and hands seems to be the originals.
Now, I suspect that the relume could be done by the local Rolex Service in one of its many services the original owner sent this timepiece.
Otherwise, they look gilt and originals. I feel best thing to do is to relume by a good watchmaker, trying to match the color of the indexes tritum. This is a good project for a near future.
I didn´t take note of the inscriptions inside back. I´m going to ask my watchmaker to open it again this week, and will tell you.
I´m very happy to know you like this example. Sending you a PM later, when arrive home, with serial numbers. Curiously, serail number is around three hundred far from the previous 6610 I got some months ago!

but why change the hands..? You've got an example which you know is as authentic as it gets, with all papers and a known history so why change that..? You don't get perfect hands after 56 years :) Big congrats, Andy.
