They call it especially made for Tudor
But I believe it is an ETA movement, somewhat modified for Tudor. What I've heard about it is that they are pretty reliable movements (ETA in general, but specially in Tudor disguise). Not sure about the rotor noise. I guess this is different for most brands, but I don't recall reading about rotor noise in ETA movements.
Don't know if you can post this on the Rolex forum. Probably shocked at least a few Purists LOL.

I purchased the Ladies Tudor Chrono and had the same concern however living in Dallas I took it by the Rolex Service Center and it checked out OK it is normal. I myself have a Rolex DD and do not have this issue. I do have a montblanc and it does the same...
