Did you have nice similar experience like mine with “award” watches?

I have a few early Panerai which I'll forever own. While my tastes have evolved, resulting in less wrist time than decades past, I'm consistently welcomed by good memories and a big smile on those occasions when I do retrieve them from their secure keeper... 

And thanks for sahring! I have considered a Panerai many times and I love the heritage and the design of the brand, I only think they are way too big and therefore I cannot find one that would fit my wrist! cheers Flavio

My favorite is the GMT Master II. The Submariner is nice, but that polished center link of the GMT Master II adds a bit of refinement. I'd get the Sea Dweller without the cyclops lens if I could find one. I'm still a big fan of the gold 36MM DayDate on a ... 

I have to say (and I don't know why) i find the non-polished center link bracalet particularly attractive only on the explorer II, maybe makes it more "adventurous"...

ahah I could not agree more, It is so hard to find something I don't like! But taste comes with criticism no?!? Btw, I have to say I also like the new total blue Cellini, more that the day-date
