We all agree quality holds value it is what is between that is at risk.
Bring me back to one priciple pricing policy. The more discounts you fund on a watch you can be sure it will not hold its value. Has always been the case with Rolex. I have less experience with Patek but i am pretty sure when you supply 60% of the demand demand remains high and oversupply glut remains low. Discounting is a slippery slope to watch appreciation.
I buy only what I like.

But I'm lucky: I often like rare watches. My last purchases this year have been 5975P (limited to100 pieces), 5450P (300 pieces), 5100P (300 pieces)... and these watches hold their velue well. Anyhow, this watch hobby is costing a lot and I fully understa...

that very very few watches, if any, can compete with Tudor Bronzo when the value for the money is concerned. Tudor is a fantastic sportive diving watch but naturally, it's not competing with any Patek. I do not see a problem... Best, Kari

I have a far broader understanding of the term "value". For me it includes also "inner qualities" like heart, spirit, passion, history,... For me a all these qualities have to be in .... harmony .... and comply with your subjective limits - available fina...
