When exposed to the elements it patina's well.
This is how mine look when first purchased in August 2016 …

After two weeks …

It started to change.
Now, this is how it looks:

Of course, by October 2016 it pretty much looked like this. I wore it while traveling through Europe last year and sales associates were amazed at its patina. It's patina is quite even and very vintage looking.
All you need to do is wear it and will oxidize. No need for vinegar ~ just needs some love

The original shine does look good and using a 'natural' cleaner should restore the shine without damage to the case. I know it will clean the case but I wonder if the lemon or vinegar will make it patina faster in storage? Any thoughts? Aloha, Bob
