Fantastic catch, great that you could find this. Your words also indicate you've carefully done the necessary research and homework. A Red Sub is beautiful watch, but to me this is a different world! You describe very well the dangerous and deep waters of the vintage Rolex and Sub world. Now if you aim for a 1958, well be ready to take a deep breath as this might take you to some abyssal depth!...

5512 chapter ring in the early '60ies are among the best vintage Rolex ever manufactured. The pure essence of the Submariner model. Congratulation because it's a "perfect matching" piece.

To get one with the 4 line dial last year.. But finally opted to get another Panerai.. Kind of regretted my decision, as it is so difficult to find one in such condition.. So I'm saying you're very lucky! Wear it in best health! Sam
