especially if you are sure of the provenance. I have never seen anything like that before, except maybe the Tiffany 6200 without the Rolex crown on the dial. Thanks for sharing !

Have you looked at the 1953 Everest links with Rolex. Sir Edmond Hillary wore a Smiths Everest and Sherpa Tensing Norgay wore an Explorer I. Might that watch be the same as yours? Worth checking. Other Everest links are Reinhold Messner and Peter Habler, ...
