The Spring Drive movement is incredibly accurate+/- 1 second per day. The Kirazuri method used on the dial of the Genbi Valley translates into "sparkling painting" with the help of dense flora.
I prefer the ice-blue, textured dial. It's a great color with lovely texture reflecting the Japanese feel that is seen in this rarely occuring ice-formation. While the green too is nice, I will settle for this one!! ...
The unusual ice-formation is considered a rare phenomenon because in Lake Suwa the ice freezes in piles of ice making a line, the on which the gods walk.
Movement, power reserve and no visible screw heads on the back make it easier for me. And though colour is intriguing on right, i think I would tire of it over time. Buts that’s just me. Texture of dial on left clinches it though the case shape a bit too ...
But I prefer the textured dial, as well as the near perfect proportions of 38.5 x 10, so the one on the left . I really don’t think you can go wrong with either 🙂
