I was really torn between the Kuon and the ultra-thin and equally beautiful Gold Feather, but opted for the Kuon for its greater versatility. I'm still thinking of adding the GF, though !

Just did a little exploration. What a great decoration on the movement. Looks a bit like the Krayon decoration. I googled if the dial is hand painted and it says it is. Quite a bang for the buck. Congratulations on a spectacular piece!

I believe that the dials on the Eichis, which are on another level (both finishing and price wise), are done by hand, but the Kuons probably not. Beautiful nevertheless! d 😃

Can the bracelet be detached to put on straps/etc?

Credor doesn't offer a strap option and, looking at how the attachment is configured, I assume an off the shelf strap for it would be hard to find. I assume a custom strap would be possible,

Probably not in the cards at Seiko upstairs, though, seeing how they treat the brands so separately and distinctly in Japan.
