I'd like to add a GS to my collection. There are just so many references to choose from that I wouldn't know where to begin seeking out the ideal one, Any suggestions as to how to familiarize myself with the brand and the myriad choices that are out there?

There certainly is a lot to choose from, and

maybe visit an AD or factory outlet if you have one nearby to get a feel for the general approach. then narrow it down to whether your prefer a traditional mechanical movement or spring drive, and from there pick a dial finish that appeals to you. for me ...
