Based on the experience with just one individual watch:
I am very happy with it. The movement ist impressive, innovative and beautiful - I would buy it again. After running 15 to 20 sec fast in the beginning of our relationship it is staying now at 8 to 9 sec/d. Which is no problem with me - simply pull the crown for 9 seconds. I prefer the 100 % mechanical over the Spring Drive mvt. all day.

What is your experience with the 9SA5 caliber? A brother of mine (the one who is "guilty" of my love for watches) is considering a GS with it.
He is not sure about buying it because there are multiple web publications that it runs considerably fast. Clearly out of specs. He asked me my opinion but my only GS is a spring drive so I have no answers. Thanks in advance.

実際にキャリバー9SA5の精度は平均日差＋5秒～－3秒を誇ります。 Actually, Seiko boasts the accuracy of cal. 9SA5 is average +5 sec to -3 sec/day. I own a spring drive so it's very accurate, not yet the one w/ cal 9SA5.

Hi. When my brother told me about this I couldn’t believe it. As we all know GS is famous for being even more accurate than what they themselves claim.
