Try finding a SBGW047 (44GS reissue), SBGW251 (original Grand Seiko reissue) or SBGR095 (62GS reissue) for original list price. For a full set you'll probably pay a lot more.
Then there are some other models that look so much like each other that I can't tell them apart.
I would stick to their LE pieces and automatic. I'm not into the quartz or Spring Drive references although they have their adherents.

Flipping, you won't make your retirment money here in US or Canada, you know its sad when most AD can't determine where a regular Seiko watch is made, they all say Japan :D lol
As for a collectors perspective they are wonderful watches and certainly worth it you'll get a lot of joy and you won't be afraid of having this chopped off because everyone thinks its a Seiko
