Seiko

Has been some time since I purchased a brand new watch, and was already quite excited particularly by this very model. It even got me record the unboxing! ~ just like the 'old' times have not seen many lately myself. FYI, I uploaded here: ; Happy times G...

Urushi dial

always good to get a new toy. If it's anything like my Urushi dialed Seiko you'll need a crowbar to prise it off your wrist Do you have any shot of the movement? Cheers JML

Why did you decide for black rather than white? BR, kolosstt

but a couple of reasons for me are the date window frame having natural artifacts of the enamel process, subdial cutting the 6 - again due to the dial process. Choice of black is rather easy ( as in most cases I reckon )

I emailed Seiko SG and all they told me was that it would be mid Sep, no further info unfortunately. They weren\'t very responsive to be honest

Given the rather large Seiko community in SG, i expected them to be a bit more enthusiastic about their engagement with their customers. I have had pretty bad experiences at their Vivo boutique as well previously

Courtesy of a friend and a Master Enabler who got it overseas It's lovely on the wrist. Surprisingly, despite my scrawny wrist, it's not too big at 42mm, in contrast to my usual 36-40mm sized watches. The lugs are short and curve downwards. It wears more ...  

choice ,but i finally picked the urushi version today at the AD --and am very happy with the choice,although the blued hands on the enamel almost tugged me in the opposite direction! It sits fairly well on my small wrist despite it's 42 mm size. ...  

... while I am still on vacation in France. My Urushi chronograph has arrived, even got a very nice number, 882. As a matter of fact, I also ordered a white enamel version from a different source, since I was not sure whether I would get one from my local... 

... because the Frankfurt boutique never contacted on the white enamel one (which had been my first choice, based on the web pictures). Originally I had ordered another enamel one from my local dealer here in Austria, but rather as an afterthought, I chan...  

I ordered both and fortunately I was informed today by the AD that they will be avbl for delivery on Saturday next . Waiting to see it in flesh . Best,
