I stopped playing concerts in 2002
Between 2000 and 2002 six people very dear to me passed away. They were nurturers and mentors. I asked myself how do I want to spend the time I had left. The answer was teaching, practicing and sitting in cafes playing chess and watching girls go by. Come to think of it maybe that’s why I lost so many games😊. I’m very fortunate I have wonderful students. Some are really world class players but all of them are very devoted to learning. That’s my life. If I didn’t practice at least three hours a day it would affect my teaching.

I've reinstalled the light brown calf strap with a 16 mm pin buckle (vs 18 mm originally),
