It's just my humble opinion...
.. that, with such a marvelous mechanical minute repeater function, SEIKO could have made the watch part with the mechanical movement, like other big maisons...
Spring Drive is a great movement in which it requires winding but works like quartz. I prefer mechanical watches over quartz watches.... and especially with great mechanical parts like this one - Spring Drive watch + mechanical minute repeater: sounds like a bit "unbalanced".....
Again, just IMHO.
