Kindly allow me to honor your quartz and passion with my quartz
from my old man who was not a rich man. I think the battery which was left in has corroded and destroyed the movement but for a very old watch, it looks in good condition on the surface. Nice bit of complication as well, a chrono with a dual time, day and date. Coul have a split second as well I'm not sure.
I may try to take it back to Seiko to see if they can salvage it. Not worth much in any material terms but....
Bought a new Seiko Quartz Chronograph over the weekend
Well after months of not buying a watch I couldn't take it anymore. I usually get a little jealous of the watches I see here due to the high price points. But I've lived with the fact I will never own anything over a $1k which is fine. OK onto the review....

I know it can be hard for those like me who are not rich for example, to see all wonderful watches here. But at the end of the day that's all they are watches.
You are probably richer in many other ways
so fret not. And like you said, they are after all only watches. A material item with little material substance in the greater more important scheme of life.
