My Blue Planet
My Blue Planet World Time Limited Edition from around 1999/2000.
I first saw this watch in a magazine around year 2000. Loved the picture of it so much I tear the page out and it sort of became my dream watch. That was before any knowledge or interests into haute horology. Then in 2003 I had a chance to travel to Japan and, while randomly window shopping in a department store, found this on display in the watch counter. This is my first real manufacture watch and remain a favourite. All the scratches remind me of the days when I would wear my lovely watch every day and wouldn't have to worry about resell value, or keeping it nice and clean for posterity. Of course nowadays even my Seiko 5 receives quite a bit more care and general maintenance.
I'll bet no one else . . .

This may not be so rare but I've never seen another one on anyone I've met even in Japan. I don't remember where I got it but it was in Japan because ANA is All-Nippon Airways, now probably No.1 Japanese airline after Japan Airlines went bust and was "res...

Hi Its running and I wear it quite regularly. The alarm is a bit subdued - I'm not sure if thats normal or if its due for a service. Though to be honest a Service probably would do any harm, even if I don't wear it too regularly. Love the dial its very mu...
