The less of a problem the thickness is. Initially I had the same misgivings, as it is really not slim. But with time you get used to it (as most of us have gotten used to watches over 38mm ), and it becomes rather normal.
But as you say, trying it on is of course very helpful.

I know I've other Seikos that aren't the slimest, but think I might struggle with this one - it's 16mm isn't it? The dials are wonderful & the fact that it's in the presage line is great. Would def need to try one on though to make a definitive judgement ...
