At the same time I got this SLGW005. Both are nice but I chose the iconic 45GS remake . With limited budget, I couldn’t choose both! But when I saw these autumn scenes in Japan, I did think of the SBGY035 again lol

I have some regrets not getting it and asked again lately but it’s all sold out in Singapore. However, the GS boutique managed to get me another “NOS” spring drive watch which I will share later.

It’s 3 days of PR - only 3 marks to indicate that I believe.

Look at the movement, it offers so much in terms of aesthetics and technology.

Finished really well for the price point and a step up for GS (of course they charge more for references with their newer movements). Dual impulse escapement and that wagtail bird clicking when winding the watch makes winding this watch a joy

Using this movement in time to come I believe. Hope you get to see it and try winding it

GS at its finest. The case, the movement, and the dial being the 'cherry on the cake'.... It's been said so many times, but Seiko always delivers more for less, regardless of the price point you happen to be invested into at any point in time. I am thorou...

And yes, that GS is a winner (home run) in my mind too. I’ve seen it a few times and have been super tempted. I have managed to restrain myself however (trying to be more disciplined these last few years).
