What a dial! Very lovely piece. Question - have you tried it on a strap? Not that I have any issue at all with the bracelet. A reddish brown strap may even accentuate (celebrate?!) the dial more.

Masters of dials even back then! While I've only owned a couple of "expensive" (relative term) quarts watches I also am annoyed if the second hand misses the marks. Even my less than
"Grand" Seiko Prospex diver hits them accurately.
