TAG Heuer

TAG Heuer has just introduced the new Carrera Chronograph, in four colors. 42 millimeter chronograph, powered by the Heuer 02 movement. Here is my Album, with loads of photos of the new watch, and some of the vintage predecessors -- And my initial impres...  

While I felt some excitement about the sport series this one leaves me a bit cold. Probably a compromise between the 160th and the sport, time will tell. As a side comment I find it interesting there wasn't a single shot of the caseback in the H article, ... 

Putting on my corporate hat, this is a successful release. Safe, balanced layout, good size and in house Cal 02. These are far better than the ETA 7750 Carreras and I think they’ll age even better than the Grand Carrera line. Putting on my enthusiast hat,... 

I think they did a great job on this one.

One is the running seconds display and the other is the date. The dials should have been like these models: ...  

these are obviously very good looking watches, this one is very clean and the 44, pretty cool... yet they still have a certain 'wannabe' aspect about them, the 44 more so than this one... It occurred to me today, a simple partial solution: LOSE the TAG in...
