Tag Heuers are quite common "first proper watch"
I know "proper" is very relative. But it was the first watch I put serious thought (and at the time, money) towards.

Great watch. There were so many times in the early 2000s that l contemplated getting a Tag Carrera.
Great watch, Good price. Still not sure why I never bought one. I seemed to buy a lot of everything else.
