last week i went back to my parents for a few days mainly to get away from the stagnation that life at home has become and to recharge my batteries. i have always been a regular visitor, but for most of my adult life i have been with partners/wives/childr...

I've been a few cities within 100 miles from London, but Norwich hasn't made that list so far, as I did travel there frequently previously. It hasn't been that frequent in the last 2 years, but I do intend to get myself there again. Richard

thankyou Andrew, i'm glad the travelogue was enjoyed. luckily it was the 1 sunny day in the whole week so the pics came out well. the river is a lot calmer than the sea, but i have to be careful to avoid those near nightclubs. i think i will need to visit...

....I've spent a little time in Norwich, a family friend worked at UEA until a few years back. I think the last time I was there was '93 One of my favourite writers WG Sebald lived in Norwich, worked at UEA and wrote extensively of the area.
