Definitely,

it really takes talented people to pull it off. Even though I read comic books as a kid they were never my primary source of entertainment. I guess that for most people of my age video games were the medium they bonded with strongest (for me they certainly were). Out of the various comics that I've read though Batman was my favorite simply due to the more human nature of the character. I do like Nolan's interpretation of Batman a lot and I think it's his best work. He is a highly talented individual and sets himself easily apart from the many tossers in Hollywood. However those movies are obviously based on a pre-existing world and characters so I must say that when it comes to original work Nolan has yet to create something that I find of good quality. Inception was one of the movies that had disappointed me the most and I really hope his next original project turns out much better. The last superhero movie that I saw was The Green Hornet and I thought it was below average, and considering what average is in Hollywood that's really saying something. There were some others though that I saw recently and thought to be really good entertainment value - Unknown and The Adjustment Bureau.
