TimeOut

During the 80's and 90's

I was a Brooks Brothers man.  Suits, ties, etc.  I don't know if it was change of ownership or a new management style, but somthing bad happened to the company.  One could always depend on a consistent, even tradmark Brooks Brothers style.  Not any more.  It seems lately as if each year, the company tries out a new sartorial fad.  Ugh!

In 1997, I said goodbye to the firm and now buy made to measure suits by Samuelson or Hickey Freeman.  So far, those two makes have kept a nice conservative business standard.

Sorry, but shame on Brooks Brothers for turning themselves into the latest fashionista.
