Elliot, what a wonderful birthday present!
You are so thoughtful to celebrate with your wife in France. Very romantic! What a sweet gesture to fly your daughter in to surprise her mom also! I love your pictures, especially the ones of the cheese shop! I love cheese! There's so many cheeses you can get in France and other areas of Europe that we can't buy here in the US. Yum!
Happy birthday to your wife, and many happy returns!
Cheers,
Daos
Happy b-day !

Hi Elliot, What a lovely story and surprise for your wife. It would be difficult to design a more romantic celebration. And the photos, particularly the first one of the fromagerie, are just magical. Thanks for taking us along. Andrew

the logistics were a nightmare: four flights, from different coasts; two hotels in Paris for overlapping nights (only 50 feet apart!); two car rentals; the staff in Burgundy trying to keep the 'secret'; the sneaking around; the deceptions; my oh my, what ...
Looks cold!

Thank you for the pics! Happy Anniversary! So many things on PuristSPro remind me that I'm overdue for a visit back to Paris again. If only they improved that airport, CDG is just a nightmare, I'd visit more often.
