These are great scopes for the money. I have the 3-9 version on a Noveske chainsaw 5.56 that is my go-to daylight varmint hunter. Durable scope with clear glass. On a side note - I am impatiently waiting on a new thermal scope. I will post a short review ...

I setup that I have not used extensively is a Eotech or Aimpoint with a magnifier. I thought about that as you can get the 1x you mentioned. I guess along with a BUIS you can use a 45 offset mini RDS and it would have all types of options. -MW
