One can always find very fine and affordable nice watches to enjoy!
I would recommend to go vintage, but there are modern watches just as enjoyable.
Also start searching and defining which one fine watch would suit most of your tastes and preferences, while being “reachable” after some savings.
Other thing you can do is consolidate your collection. Get rid of the ones you don’t enjoy so much or don’t use much anymore, and use the profits as your initial savings.

You are correct it was Invicta. I have nothing against the brand or those that wear them, I have a couple of their budget divers myself. The problem is some think their the almighty brand of watches I don't believe there's such a thing.

I think you’ll find lovers of all types of brands regardless of price. Seiko for example has a really robust following here, including many devotees of the low cost dive watches which are so much fun to collect.
