Beyond the one day driving through and some reading.
An interesting / amusing fact - Ettore Bugatti refused to sell King Zog I of Albania a car because 'the man had such despicable table manners' 
Otherwise very beautiful, one of the nicer coasts in Europe and a country with some of the best ballet talent (most end up in Italy, apparently).
And they resisted the Turkish rule much longer than the neighbors.

They had a dinner together in Paris
Back in the day it seems Ettore would dine with potential customers (or at least with the royal ones). Meant more as an amusing piece of trivia and definitely not as a judgement of Albanians generally. Your point is an important part of their clan culture...

While we did not stop at that particular station to enquire, overall it has been a very interesting, memorable trip. Including a horse being tied to the back bumper of a car and being transported down the road that way (posted the pic a while ago)
In our industry there is a saying
Especially amongst the salesmen, namely \'never miss a p...\' As we did not want a difficult conversation with the insurance company on exactly where the car disappeared, I let down both the accepted wisdom as well as the inner Purist on that day
