Thanks! Raj is soooo soft! His adult hair has not grown in yet so he's soft as a fine chenille sweater. He is very fat and likes to cuddle. I think maybe he is the perfect dog for you, Vlad, because he seems to have an eeeevil streak! Daos

Are you turning into a crazy dog lady? ;-)

I cannot imagine how people have the time for more than two while still holding down a regular job and having some semblance of a life! Plus, the dog hair from two Labs is insane! I should start figuring out how to knit the hair into mittens or something ... 

along with regular brushing will keep down the summer fur.

...but don't want to strip out too much hair. I worry that the Furminator may damage Reign's nice double coat if used too often. Every other day or so I use a Zoom Groom on Reign to get off the loose hairs. Cheers, Daos

Reign seems to be accepting the newest family member well. Hope all will be on the same schedule soon. JerryW

Raj is pretty feisty, so Reign and he still have moments of Mad Max type action to find out who is top dog. It's pretty comical considering Raj weighs 14 lbs. and Reign weighs 80 lbs. Of course, I supervise pretty closely to make sure nobody is truly gett... 

Very cute and what dreamy eyes.Did Reign bond immediately ? My 17 year old cat died over a year ago and we have a new kitten ( now no longer a kitten at 1 year old ).Our male border collie/kelpie cross merely tolerates the male cat at best. Cheers,dreamer

The boys are still working it out. Reign is still young enough to enjoy a playmate and generally is nice to Raj. Raj is not always nice to him, as puppies are basically cute little demons with sharp fangs. Raj will toddle up to Reign while he's sleeping a... 

I cannot even imagine four Labs in my house or my yard! Maybe if I had a shrink ray and could make them 10 lb. Labs! Daos

...looks are deceiving. He has already shown an "evil-esque" side (to use one of our dear Vlad's terms). Yes, hopefully Reign will come to love him in time and we are successful at crate training/potty training. Cheers, Daos

i'm very tempted to get another dog when i move and i'm very tempted to get a Lab or golden retriever. the breed will have to be slightly less mad than my German Shorthaired Pointers were. i think they'll make great friends for each other and extra specia... 

...you'd have a great time with a dog. I would say young Labs are pretty high energy, but perhaps less driven or high intensity versus the German Shorthair. A well-bred adult Lab from ages 3 and up should be a mellow, versatile companion. Cheers, Daos...

Yes, Reign's been a great role model. Raj will totally push Reign's buttons though and sometimes he gets a smackdown from his big brother. All part of learning his place in the pack. Cheers, Daos

And congrats to you, and probably more Reign, for adopting Raj. I am a dog lover too, but I can't have one now for logistical reasons. But there is a chance I can become a part owner...yes...part owner, in the sense that a good friend of mine has taken a ... 

...of joy to a household, but they definitely are a lot of work. I think dog ownership is more of a lifestyle than anything else. I hope you enjoy co-owning a dog. Cheers, Daos
