A couple of weeks ago a true Purist-friend came over for a couple of days. Watches, food, drinks, travel , friendship ... and most of all fun are the main ingredients in a Purists life i guess ... . COME AND SEE .... LET THE SHOW BEGIN ... get ready for p...

Upon arrival of your guest it is more than obvious you make sure he has something to eat ... a typical Flemish meal but as our guest stated it is also a typical English meal .. Fricandon with cherries ... . Desert .. as in 'the best patisserie in the regi...  

Bubbles and diving watches, a great combination ! Graham's Seamaster ( a non 1964 !!!! ) really appealed to me, funky seventies design and a dial to die for. The bracelet was very light and snug fit to the wrist ! Compressor crowns ! Once again that lovel...

I'm totally free apart from 29th when i'm going to a gig just down the road. Seeing 'the hillmans blues band' which includes Dick Taylor, one of the original founding members of the rolling stones. Why not come down then if you like blues and old rock. G ... 

. . . don't tell me Tony Chapman will be there, too! Four days after your gig, Graham, I'll be catching the Stones here in LA, for the 35th - and most likely, last - time. Gotta enjoy 'em while we can!

Only Dick Taylor Art, He now lives on the isle of wight(little bit of land a mile out to sea from where i live). If you google the band they have a website and some track samples. Its only a small gig, probably no more than 150 people(i havent got tickets...

i know its hard to believe, but sometimes it is nessesary for the Bim to do some work. one of his twice yearly jobs is a nice drive away in France for a chain of restaurants whose name i wasnt going to mention, but its written in bold letters in the next ...

That was a good pic to start the thread as we had been to a superb restaurant for lunch with the elusive mr b, but to get there we had to walk through the red light district, past the windows with smiling young ladies and then past this great looking porn... 

Of course that I know that you, as a local, knows that Hercule is from Belgium but most of my friends, because he talks funny, believe that he is French. Wrong. I forgot that Sir Graham is a minor. My fault. I was under the impression that he was an activ...

i arrived on a friday evening having spent the day in lovely weather only to wake up the next day to see this. the city of Gent has some beautiful architecture which seems to look nicer on a bright, but very cold day. an interesting juxtaposition of this ...  

on my last day we took Louie to Knokke le Zoute, a town on the coast with a beautiful beach and full of beautiful people. known as the Monaco of Belgium because of the housing costs, the great cars and restaurants. perfect proof that a Landrover Freelande...
