Very very cool pics, Cazalea! A virtual walk back in time.
I had the chance to visit both MPC and MTC earlier this year, and they are even pickier now about pictures once you step inside their doors; even pictures in the "museum display" area are mostly forbidden in case one accidentally gets some top secret pieces in the background...
This was the best I could manage of the facilities...
this part was, sadly, completely forgettable because I got a fuddy duddy in the minder's seat that couldn't shut up about "shift now" and "brake now"...

its one of those places that you see on train and motorway signposts, but dont think to visit. i've never seen an F1 in the flesh either despite living most of my life in the south of england and nearly 20 years only 50 miles from Woking. i'd love to read...
