So sad to head that!
Only three month ago we had the pleasure to meet Marcus, his wife and Chagall during a rescue drill in the Austrian mountains.
It was amazing to see how these dogs were able to trail the trace of a person through very adverse conditions.
(Unfortunately I did not have the opprotunity to take a picture with Chagall in action.)
But it became also obvious during our visit how much Chagall meant to you, Marcus, and to listen when you talked about him was heartwarming.

I know how you feel
I was caressing him, while the vet was letting him go. He told us to cry, not to pretend to be strong. We did so. Now he's in the dog's heaven, because i've been a terrible master and he deserved a reward made of mountains of bones (his passion)
