..for your kind words. I completely understand your perspective. I am drawn to landscape photography also. For me it was a subconscious action to include man made structures in my pictures. I would actively seek places, or acts of nature in the landscape & take my pictures. Upon viewing the pictures I had taken there was always a man made structure of some sort involved in the scene. I am drawn to power lines in particular (and now seek them to be included in my photography). These man made structures seem, well, for me at least, to give the pictures some grounding & it makes the picture more interesting for me. I like the way that the lines of these man made structures actually enhance the scenery - harmony between man & nature.
