I start to have a very thick Madrid address book: I spend there 2 weeks per year so I believe that I know very well the city. Maybe not like a native but without any doubt much better than a tourist... I would like to share with you 3 restaurant addresses...  

Everything looks great but not so sure about that 'Chrysler Tower' burger. Was it too sweet? -MW

But still nice. I'm a "sweet and sour" guy so it was not a trouble for me and I liked a lot the mix between the blueberries and the cheese. But it may surprise a lot the fans of the classic burgers. Fx

It's always good to see creativity in food like this otherwise it'll be just a plain burger that you can get anywhere else in the world. Thanks again for sharing! -MW

not at all, but now I have to think about my next dinner That "Chocolateria" looks very nice, especially what is inside the cup. I recommend not to show those pictures to our dear friend from Belgium. He will go on the road immediately and never come back...

And timing could not have been better as I will be visiting Madrid in early June. I will definitely take into account all these places while deciding where to eat. Dessert will be easy... San Gines for sure! All the best, Alex

When you are in Barcelona , everything is against Madrid. Looks like great experience! It took me some time to get used to start eating around 10:00 PM in spain but now i have the cultural schock of eating early in Germany! Great photos as well! Cheers. L... 

When I come back from Spain and that I have to go to England or Germany the day after... it's very difficult for my stomach to have a gap of almost 3 hours between lunch or dinner times! But I go quite often in Koln and I have the feeling that people star... 

Thank you for sharing. I love great food and will check out these places next time I am in Madrid. Btw, which Chorizo to buy? i love them, and so does my youngest 1 year old daughter... Last time I made soup ( Jerusalem artichoke soup ) did she eat almost...

One minute ago I was longing to visit Paris after reading Nico's post and now I am just hungry for any food!! LOL, cheers my Friend.

Wow, wished I could get that kind of chocolate here in Northern California. I don't drink coffee, so I often have to get hot chocolate. With that hot chocolate, I think more individuals would be keen to get it over the coffee.

thanks for the introduction to these restaurants will look forward to trying botin for it's cochonillo and the chocolate bar when visitng madrid in late august---hopefully the chefs are not on holiday are reservations at botin necessary? best henry
