I start to have a very thick Madrid address book: I spend there 2 weeks per year so I believe that I know very well the city. Maybe not like a native but without any doubt much better than a tourist... I would like to share with you 3 restaurant addresses...

When I come back from Spain and that I have to go to England or Germany the day after... it's very difficult for my stomach to have a gap of almost 3 hours between lunch or dinner times! But I go quite often in Koln and I have the feeling that people star...

I'm drooling now I guess l have go to those places on my next trip to Madrid. Next time you go to Madrid, may I suggest you go and eat at GAZTELUPE?, is one of my fav restaurants in Madrid. Thanks for sharing, FX. Vte

Wow, wished I could get that kind of chocolate here in Northern California. I don't drink coffee, so I often have to get hot chocolate. With that hot chocolate, I think more individuals would be keen to get it over the coffee.

thanks for the introduction to these restaurants will look forward to trying botin for it's cochonillo and the chocolate bar when visitng madrid in late august---hopefully the chefs are not on holiday are reservations at botin necessary? best henry
