What is also typically parisian is the expensive prices.
Drinks, ice-creams, everything: prices are totally crazy.
I had the other day a lunch at a terrasse in the center of Paris with a guy of the watches industry:
- crazy prices
- poor service far from what you get in other big cities
- food, better not to speak about...
An isolated case ? No... because it occurs more and more often.
Sorry to use the pic of this charming place for this rant.
Hopefully, Paris is still a beautiful city with lots of nice areas and hidden treasures like this one...

I never had this kind of problem with those with who I had lunch. As for prices, I have to agree, but as the famous ad use to say " A nice moment with your daughter has no price ". Best, Nicolas.
