Ulysse Nardin

I asked myself the same question

I opted for the "traditional" Freak S, but I understand that Ulysse Nardin has customers that really want to be part of this original idea who can't afford the original design. The Freak was instrumental in rethinking what we do with watches these days, whether that is actual time-telling, the use of silicone, open work design, or unusual case materials. The Freak X makes this line somewhat more affordable. I really think we forget how innovative UN is, and I believe their independence from Kering is about to show in its line. I almost bought the Freak X as a limited edition from Bucherer last year, the color was really good.

Next year is the 25th anniversary of the Freak, I believe UN is going to really celebrate that.
