I now prefer the wave pattern on the dial ....
.... since I feel it to be more appropriate on a diving watch. However, I still like the "gulf ball" pattern a lot. For me personally, the issue of the second and power reserve hands is more important. I am not a big fan of the "surfboard" designs adopted from the new Diver Chronograph, and prefer the older and more classic style here.
Any way, the Titanium diver is certainly a very, very attractive sports watch.

Wow the Acqua Perpetual is now in 45mm!

While you are right that the former Acqua appeared rather thick in relation to the diameter, 45mm are quite a lot. Yet I am less worried about the case itself, but about the new crown design. It is very attractive, but a) highly difficult to get a grip at...

FYI -bracelet has polished SS center links and brushed Ti outer links.
The bracelet is not entirely made of titanium, so I was told via an email communication with UN's customer support.
